All male hybrid that produces no seed. Thus, all of the plants strength is put into "spear" production for huge yields. Our crowns are grown on fumigated soil, and inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture.
The best producers of premium Purple spears. Asparagus is a "long lived" perennial plant that needs to be planted in a full sun area. Medium to lighter soils are best for planting, however it will also perform on heavier clay loams. We offer prices better than the seed catalogs, as we are the producer.
