We are a "micro-farm" located in central Michigan. We started our operation in 1990, by selling snap peas and our fresh eggs from a styro- foam cooler . Over the years we have transformed our operation into a seasonal garden center with a year round greenhouse.
During the growing season, we grow some of the best produce in the area. We are also associated with some of the best fruit growers in the State of Michigan, and offer "premium" bulk seasonal fruit for all of your preserving needs.
We are firm supporters of "Know your food, know your Farmer", and the local food movements. All of our products are from Michigan, with the exception of some spices, and sweeteners that we use in our operations here.
We DO NOT offer any types of GMO products at all. Our farm , although not certified organic, We practice pre-1940's Agricultural Practices with the exception of Biological Pesticides certified by the National Organic Program (NOP). We use extensive soil testing, composting, and cover crops to help maintain the fertility of our soils.
We will be expanding our operation this season. You will be very pleased with the additional items and services that we will be offering. We will also be expanding our growing operation with additional acreage, to include strawberry and fruit production.
Take a look around our website, we will be updating it often, and offering special pricing on selected items.
